Course Description

This course provides the experiences necessary for further professional development and exposure to related agencies in the criminal justice field. Students will pursue a professional research project supervised by the instructor. Topics include criminal justice theory and applications.

Course Outcomes

Criminal Justice Theory Applications

  • Apply criminal justice theory through the production of a professional research project concerning, but not limited, to the following areas of the criminal justice field: 
  1. An agency
  2. A selected topic concerning the field
  3. Work related experience

  This project can include, but is not limited to an appropriately formatted and cited scholarly research paper; an audiovisual presentation; panel discussions; class demonstrations or symposia.
