Course Description
This course provides a comprehensive discussion of the ethical use of emerging technology. Students will explore the different issues surrounding privacy and law enforcement with unmanned aerial vehicles, the rise of big data, and the amount of information that is collected on individuals using big data algorithms. They will discuss what privacy means and what expectations of privacy individuals can have in the digital age. Other topics on ethics and technology may arise during the semester.

Define and Discuss Rise of Big Data
