Certification

After completing the certificate course-work of choice and passing a nationally recognized certification test such as “Medical Office Assistant (NCMOA)” and/or “Medical Assisting (NCMA)” offered by the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), multiple employment opportunities exist within medical practices.

Many students find that their learned knowledge and experience can assist them to advance their knowledge into the Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program and eventually the Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program at Athens Technical College.
