Course Description

This course is a continuation of the study in commercial wiring practices and procedures. Topics include conduit design and installation practices and system design concepts. Students must pay a $30 supply fee when registering for this course.

Transformer Connections

Low Voltage Systems

Conduit Design and Installation

2           Measure, cut, run, and/or terminate wiring through a conduit system.

3           Identify rigid conduit.

4           Identify special purpose conduit and connectors.

5           Properly ground a conduit system.

7           Install PVC conduit and boxes to structures.

8           Identify PVC conduit and connectors.

9           Identify EMT connectors.

     10          Measure, cut, run, and/or terminate wiring through conduits to junction boxes or receptacles.
