Course Description
This seminar focuses on job preparation and maintenance skills and provides students with a review for the certification examination. Topics include letters of application, resumes, completing a job application, job interviews, follow-up letters and telephone calls, letters of resignation, and a review of program competencies for employment and certification.

- Demonstrate preparation of a resume to be used when applying for a job.

- Perform role-play of a job interview.
- Perform discussing questions commonly asked during a job interview.
- Demonstrate dressing appropriately for a job interview.
- Demonstrate preparing a follow-up letter.
- Demonstrate preparation of a letter of resignation.
- Demonstrate discussion of the importance of appropriate resignation procedures, including completion of a resignation letter, giving notice, and working out a notice.
